Culinary Use: Phogle ka Raita is very popular. It is also used in a special kind of Dhokla and added to Roti during summer.
Preparation Method: Wash, soak, boil until it turns a purple hue and then use.
Medicinal Benefits: Traditionally, fogla is known for its cooling properties, which are valued in the hot climate of the Thar desert.
